An ASMS project group turned business (Revolution Games) won two major awards at the Young ICT Explorers competition held on the weekend!
The event, held at the Mawson Lakes UniSA campus on the 23rd of September, involved young entrepreneurs pitching their creations to a panel of judges made up of SA based ICT professionals.
The group placed first in two categories: the year 11 to 12 category and the people’s choice category. They took away over 200 dollars’ worth of Visa gifts cards as prizes.
Revolution Games was developed at the ASMS as part of a student run project to create a game for the government run D3 Competition with the purpose to educate children in making informed decisions in everyday life. They won the D3 competition and grew into an independent run venture, that continues to grow with the continuing development of an app based video game set for launch in 2017.
