It is hard to believe that as the end of Term 1 approaches, most Year 12 courses will be about one-third of the way through their content. For the Year 12’s, this means a busy time for learning, assessments and excursions. English students have been on an excursion to the Art Gallery this week for inspiration. Chemistry students have completed their titration practicals. They will all have plenty of evidence to present at their Term 1 Learning Conversations.

Year 12 Parent Information Evening was held in Week 8, and many thanks to the parents who came in to meet their child’s teachers and learn more about the courses and pathways they are working towards. If you were unable to attend, the whole-group presentation is included with this article.

The Formal Committee are currently hard at work planning the ASMS Formal, which will be held on Friday 8 June at Sanctuary, the Adelaide Zoo function centre.

I hope the Year 12’s are able to use the Term 1 holidays as an opportunity for rest, reflection and consolidation of their learning so far as they prepare for an equally busy Term 2!
