We’ve recently done some investigating to find out what primary schools students attend, how they heard about the school and who suggested they attend. There are some really interesting results – there are more than 120 primary schools that our students attended, over a quarter of our students found out about us through friends, and when asked who suggested they attend the ASMS, there were 48 different groups identified! The main responses indicated that students either made the decision themselves or their family suggested it, but recommendations from schools were also a strong response.

We find this to be fascinating information and will be exploring it further with our Governing Council. Watch this space – we will be holding some focus groups in the future to help us better understand student motivation to come here!
