In the Truth and Perception course, Year 10/11 students are busy learning about geometric theorems in their “Proofs and Conjectures Unit: Is it True?” Don’t be surprised if your young person joins a conversation with, “that’s not a valid statement, the evidence is too weak… try giving me a more logical and sound series of premises before you make such conclusions!” 😊

Students have previously learned about the physics of light, so the images here show some interdisciplinary connections between physics and geometry. One image in particular is depicting a light ray following the path of an angle subtended by an arc of a circle.
