As we travel back in time across the 20th Century (a time of exponential change for humanity), ASMS students research scientific and technological development to become amateur historians! In week 5, Yr10’s/11’s were challenged to prepare an interactive exhibit for the biannual ASMS TechnoHistory Museum.

In 100 minutes the students set up ~35 displays on pin-boards; teachers, peers, and guests from the community walk around and assess each display with a rubric; students orally present their research and are assessed on their Knowledge, Understanding, Inquiry, Analysis, Communication, and Reflection; and then the whole museum is taken down, cleaned up and school resumes as normal.
