ASMS was once again an amazing feature at Science Alive last weekend…the biggest and best EVER!
Our stall was a hive of activity with 36 students and 8 teachers promoting the school and explaining the wonders of science. Over 26,000 members of our community attended this event over the 3 days!
At the ASMS stall:
- Over 1000 slimes were made
- Around 2500 rollercoaster rides were enjoyed by all ages
- At least 600 simulated flights – some landing successfully, and others unfortunately crashing!
- 100s of photos taken home by families using the 60x phone microscopes
- At least 600 origami cranes and boxes were formed
- Over 500 mindful patterns were coloured-in by frazzled parents
- Hundreds of squishy circuits were built
- Introductions by ASMS students to 30 shows for audiences of 1500 – 3000 people!
It was a hugely successful weekend; well done to all involved.
