Rose Park Primary School visits the ASMS!
Last week we were proud to host ~120 Year 6’s and 7’s from Rose Park Primary School. They came to do some lab work relating to their Unit of Inquiry, which focuses on the separation of mixtures. They performed a distillation, participated in a freshwater design challenge, and had a play with our 60x microscope cameras.
Rose Park students aren’t the only ones to benefit from this experience! Their teachers have also been participating in ASMS Professional Learning sessions relating to Inquiry Skills in Science, the use of various pieces of lab equipment and using the Learning Design Framework to plan units of work.
