Mathematics at the ASMS can be a roller coaster…quite literally these days!

Students are using a roller coaster model to help them understand polynomial equations in a meaningful context. Ben is using desmos.com to write quadratic equations (y = ax2 + bx + c) that model the parabolas found in theme park rides.
