In BIQ Physiology we have been investigating the various methods of training available for people who are looking to improve their overall health and physical performance. Scott Lycett (Premiership AFL Ruckman for the West Coast Eagles 2018, current dual-ruckman for Port Adelaide Power), and Bridget Kuerschner (Bachelor of Exercise, Masters Clinical Exercise Physiology and member of the Metro Jets State Premier League Squad) donated their time to come in and speak to the physiology classes about a wide range of relevant topics. The combination of Scott and Bridget’s expertise allowed teachers and students to gain an enormous depth and breadth of answers to their questions. Topics that were discussed included exercise physiology, training methods, mental health strategies, female participation in sport, and many more!
