Our blossoming Year 12 Biology students explored the Port River and collected genuine data to contribute to this oyster restoration project. Keys goals were to learn about the history from both an Indigenous Australian and European settlement perspective, observe human impact on the river and reefs, collect data of the abiotic conditions and measure the growth of the native oysters and the spat (oyster young).
