On the 23 of August, ASMS hosted its third Parent Seminar evening, with a focus on future pathways available for students. We were lucky enough to be joined by Eva Balan-Vnuk, the State Director SA of Microsoft, Emma Jones, the co-founder of Garage of Awesome, Vicki Thomas, a lecturer and IT specialist from TAFE SA, and Jessica Perry, from Workforce Blueprint.

Eva, Emma and Vicki talked through their diverse experiences in the technology sector, discussing the future of the industry and how students can prepare for jobs that don’t yet exist. Jessica presented about the multitude of pathways that exist for future study and work apart from using an ATAR, and gave an exciting glimpse into what the future of work might look like.
