During the second half of week 7 and for all of week 8, Hunter Rodato and Jayden Squire were joined by 200 students from around the world as well as Jayne Heath, David Cowen and Glenys Thompson as they participated in the ISSF 2019 held at National Junior College, Singapore. During the Fair, both students were parts of international teams who undertook field trips and worked to solve challenges related to sustainability and building a better world for the future.

It wasn’t all work – the students and teachers were also able to experience a range of activities including visiting museums and the zoo, as well as cultural opportunities to understand a culture that is very different to ours in Australia. They also had the chance to become friends with others from around the world who have similar interests and share their passion for science. It was an amazing experience and one that all will treasure for many years to come.
