Ten lucky female students from ASMS attended the Women in Technology event hosted by Adelaide University on 7 June 2018. At the event students participated in a range of challenge base activities including:

  • Using physics equations of energy
  • Changing the flow of water in a network to ensure an equal amount of water was obtained in different reservoirs
  • programming¬† EV3 LEGO robots using Mindstorm
  • Using friction and drag to make their kenetic car go the fastest
  • Visualising petroleum platform using Virtual Reality technology
  • crunching numbers to identify types of crude oil
