The Body in Question groups have recently divided into student selected Health Choices including Psychology, Nutrition, Physiology and a student led option. The Physiology group has been developing an understanding of Physiological terminology that relates to anatomy. This culminated in a dissection activity where students explored the anatomy of chicken wings as well as sheep and pig limbs; looking to understand and identify similar structures as in humans. Participants were able to observe the similarities of muscle, tendon, ligament and bone structures. The students documented their learning and will build upon this knowledge in the coming weeks.
