This week we had a guest presenter, Dr Youichirou Ootsuka (also known as YoYo), introduce the research being undertaken in neuroscience and excite students about our upcoming Term 2 Learning Studies Programs. Yoyo is the Mary Overton Neuroscience Research Fellow in the Centre for Neuroscience, School of Medicine, Flinders University.

This term the ASMS is focusing on the brain, its structures, functions, capabilities, capacities, plasticity, and how understanding it more fully will allow us to maximise our ability to use it.  We are so thankful to have the expertise of researchers like Dr Ootsuka, to help us get our facts straight, to encourage us to pursue neuroscience, and inspire us to not only appreciate but feel excited about the complexities of the brain!
