2020 is a year to remember!

The ASMS end of 2020 school year celebrations had a few disruptions! While we had to make some rapid changes to our programs, we still managed to have a successful finish to our school year. Our year 12 students completed their final assessments for Stage 2 SACE, our Year 10 & 11’s completed their tasks for Central Studies and staff have compiled the Semester 2 Reports. The Reports will be on the ASMS Portal Friday 11 Dec and you will also receive a copy in the mail before Christmas.  Our Year 12 students will also receive a copy of their Graduation Certificate which will enable them to use this if needed for any applications for work or courses over the coming weeks. They will also receive this Certificate at our Presentation Night being held at Thebarton Theatre on Wednesday 10 February, 2021.

Congratulations to all of our Stage 2 students for your outstanding SACE results in 2020. You have every reason to feel very proud of your accomplishments. Every student’s success is a result of hard work, perseverance and resilience.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the support you have provided our school during 2020. Our students and staff have managed the uncertainty and change brought about by circumstances outside of their control. All along they have prioritised ensuring a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment. It has been a year with some challenges and I appreciate the effort of all those within the ASMS community that enabled our students to achieve their learning goals.

For now though we have some time to relax and rejuvenate.  Our 2021 school year commences on Wednesday 27 January and I look forward to welcoming our students back to school then!

Take care & keep safe,

Jayne
