“There’s always more that we can do to reduce stigma about mental health”. Students at ASMS value our inclusive culture and want to see their peers become even more comfortable talking about mental illness.
As part of their Psychological Health topic, student teams created campaigns to normalise mental illness and provide students with safe places to discuss their experiences. One such as webpages that allow students to maintain dialogue with the school’s Youth Worker anonymously, and link into external support agencies. Campaigns were supported by thoughtful, visual and engaging communication ideas including videos and posters.
