The best way to gain inspiration for your own innovative ideas, is to see how the professionals are doing it!
Our Medical Engineering students visited Flinders University – Tonsley Campus to see what their biomedical experts are up to. Year 10s and 11s rotated through a variety of experiments, projects, and research areas that included measuring brain activity, virtual painting for people with disabilities, prosthetic limb enhancement technology, and precision joint development to name a few. As ASMS students are currently developing their own innovative medical devices, this excursion surely helped fuel their creativity!
