Ten lucky female students from ASMS attended the Women in Technology event hosted by Adelaide University on 7 June 2018. At the event students participated in a range of challenge base activities including:
- Using physics equations of energy
- Changing the flow of water in a network to ensure an equal amount of water was obtained in different reservoirs
- programming EV3 LEGO robots using Mindstorm
- Using friction and drag to make their kenetic car go the fastest
- Visualising petroleum platform using Virtual Reality technology
- crunching numbers to identify types of crude oil
