Governing Council are very keen to facilitate information sessions for families that are relevant and timely. To that end, we are planning to hold one or two sessions per term next year and would love your input on what topics would be useful. Some suggestions so far are:

  • You don’t know what you don’t know – a session in term 1 for new families, timed to coincide when new students are starting to feel overwhelmed and assessment is building
  • What matters more; Learning or Achievement? – a session for all families to further investigate the learning model at the ASMS
  • What’s ‘normal’ for teenagers? Supporting the wellbeing of all learners – a session for all families to investigate what ‘normal’ does and doesn’t look like and what supports are available for families

Please forward any ideas for topics to Glenys and they will be passed on to Governing Council for consideration.
