How to Enrol
Students in Year 9 and above can submit their application for enrolment at any time during the year.
Applications are assessed in June, September and November. Following this assessment, applicants may be offered direct enrolment, an interview to seek further information and clarification, or a position on the waiting list.
Application forms are available from our school and from the link below. Each application is assessed against the following selection criteria.
- Interest in pursuing pathways based on science and mathematics;
- Interest and aptitude or potential in science, mathematics and related technologies;
- Evidence of ability to engage with the innovative teaching and learning environment of ASMS.
All applicants will be sent written notification of the outcome of the process. A transition and information day is held in term 4 for prospective students.

Materials & Services Charges
The ASMS is a government school within the Department for Education. Fees for 2020 are $915 which includes the standard fee of $318 and an additional fee of $597.
As the school conducted a polling process in accordance with departmental guidelines the total fee is recoverable. Students who are eligible for school card will be credited with $318 for 2020 with the balance being a voluntary payment. School card application information is available at sa.gov.au.
Invoices, with details of the composition of the Materials and Services Charge are issued at the beginning of each year. Payments to the ASMS can be made in person, by mail, by phone, or direct deposit.

Payments of Materials and Services Charges by instalments are available. Payment plans will be arranged using our Direct Debit by Instalment facility with the Westpac bank. Please contact our school for further information.
