Earth & Cosmos is a new Central Study in semester 2.
Earth and Cosmos explores our understandings of the sun, moon and stars, and the challenges of human space exploration. Students examine the evidence for the formation and structure of our universe and solar system. The role of atmospheric and planetary composition, potential alien life, the effect on humans and the scientific basis of successful space exploration are explored in detail.
Earth and Cosmos is a powerful combination of physics, physiology, psychology, biochemistry, astronomy and literacy.
The teaching program has 5 sessions of 100min each per week. Students will be required to undertake regular homework to consolidate class work.
