ASMS Coinvestigators of Creativity; Dream Big 2019
Once again students from the ASMS were invited to provide a four-day workshop for over 200 primary school students. Fifteen students worked for three months to design a series of six experiments to teach primary students about neuroscience and wellbeing. We were privileged to work with performance artists Eliza and Kerrin once again.
Our workshop took place in the spectacular SAHMRI auditorium. Visiting students explored the wonders of their brains through a series of “experiments”, they tasted strange jellies, painted using marbles, explored emotions and above all were creative. The creativity and teaching skills of our students was outstanding.
