Kareem El-Ansary, Australian Youth representative to the United Nations, met with a dedicated group of ASMS students on Thursday 28 March to discuss the ‘big issues’ – how optimistic are our youth feeling? – how can the world solve the big problems like climate change? – how can we have country-level governance that is relevant to youth and the issues they are passionate about?
Vyomaa, Keely, Ben, Jarred, Hunter, Matthew and Giordan provided thoughtful responses and strong arguments to support their points of view. We are very lucky that one of the South Australian UN Youth representatives is an ASMS Alumni – Lohana Rodato, who has continued her commitment to this organisation since leaving the ASMS in 2016.
