Even the ASMS gets outside every once in a while!

Activities Day is a day for the whole school to have fun while getting some exercise down on one of the Flinders University sports ovals. Popular events include Volleyball, the Vortex throw, Ultimate Frisbee, Long Jump, and a variety of sprints, with a few novelty events like the Noodle Relay, Sack Race, and Tug-o-War! Lunch was a catered BBQ, offering sausages, vegetable patties, and watermelon to help keep everyone cool and hydrated.

At the end of the day, the straw-coloured team claimed their fifth consecutive win on 857 points, followed by Red with 695, Green with 680, and Blue with 562. John Rowe’s Learning Studies class earned 215 points alone, winning them the ‘most points per class’ award – for the third time in a row!

Special thanks to Debbie Smith, Deb Inglis, and Jason Scarman for selling food and drinks to raise money for the Service Club, who donate to a range of charities.
