I have long been involved in leading professional development programs within the South Australian education system. Most recently this has been recognised in my roles as: Assistant Principal, Professional Development. ASMS 2003-, Lecturer, Adjunct Status, Flinders University 2005. Facilitating professional learning for post graduate students.

In my role as Assistant Principal, Professional Development at the ASMS my major leadership responsibilities include:
- Leadership staff professional development to support the innovative teaching and learning environment and curriculum development of the ASMS interdisciplinary curriculum
- Leadership ASMS statewide professional development strategy with a focus on science and mathematics education
- Facilitate ASMS national and international professional development programs

- DECS Science and Mathematics Strategic Directions Management Committee
- ASMS Development Advisory Committee 2004-, establishing policy directions for ASMS in conjunction with Flinders University, DECS, Professional Associations
- Flinders University/ASMS Core Team 2002-, supporting partnership activities between the two organisations
- DECS Science & Mathematics Future Innovations Committee
- Extension Studies Subject Advisory Committee 2004-, responsible for development, implementation and monitoring of innovative SACE Stage 2 curriculum statement
